No FeedLot
Our
Texas Longhorn Cattle do not spend one day of their life in a commercial
feedlot. Our cattle go straight from our pasture to a USDA or
state
inspected processing plant. We believe this is the most humane
treatment of the animal. Feedlots are crowded, dirty, and some
would argue (inhumane). Often, feedlot cattle must be given
medicated feed because of the potential for disease in such a crowded
environment. Our cattle graze freely until we are ready to deliver
for processing.
